Women have routinely been deleted from the historical record. This has happened in every civilization and we continue this vicious practice even today.
Women existed in history. Women did amazing things in history. It’s time we began telling these stories.
Even by selecting one story to share, you are opening your student’s minds to the possibilities that the world they live in is highly edited. They may decide to investigate for themselves. Choose an ignored or erased woman in history and share her story.
